Eileen graduated with honors from University of Arizona, where she received a BA in Psychology and a Minor in Journalism. She went on to complete a Master’s of Science Degree in Clinical Counseling from University of Phoenix, with a focus on Crisis Intervention and Trauma related issues for Families and Children, and holds a certificate in Child-Parent Psychotherapy (CPP). She is a member of the Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC) and she has advocated/counseled for children, adolescents, and their families under Easter Seals Blake Foundation for five years.
For the past two years, Eileen has been working alongside dual diagnosis clients and their families, with addiction treatment, mental health, and family recovery. Her work as a psychotherapist and in using her passion for Art has provided insight, clinical tools, and guidance to many individuals, adolescents’ and their families, through a balanced, productive, healthy lifestyle. Eileen has utilized Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) with emphasis on core mindfulness skills available for families in coping with developmental, behavioral, or underlying mental health issues.
